How I Can Help

Trauma Therapy (Brainspotting + IFS)

BrainspottingIFS

Trauma can leave you feeling overwhelmed or disconnected.

I use Brainspotting and Internal Family Systems to help clients process PTSD, childhood trauma, and emotional overwhelm in a grounded, safe space. Together, we support your nervous system and create room for clarity and healing.

Betrayal Trauma Therapy

Betrayal can shake your sense of safety and trust.

I help clients stabilize their nervous systems, understand the impact of relational trauma, and rebuild internal safety after infidelity, secrecy, or broken trust, all at a pace that feels steady and supportive.

Therapy Intensives

Sometimes healing needs more space than a weekly session.

Intensives offer extended, immersive support, from 4-hour sessions to multi-day formats up to 3 days. In a calm, sanctuary-like environment, we slow down, regulate the nervous system, and create space for deeper transformation.

Therapeutic Methods

Types of Therapy & Approaches

Evidence-based modalities tailored to your unique healing journey

Brainspotting

Brainspotting (BSP) is a powerful, brain-based therapy that works by identifying specific eye positions—called "brainspots"—that correlate with where trauma or emotional pain is stored in the deeper parts of your brain. By holding your gaze on these spots while staying present with your internal experience, Brainspotting allows your brain and body to process and release what has been stuck. This approach is especially effective for trauma, anxiety, and chronic stress, helping the brain naturally reorganize and integrate difficult memories without needing to verbally relive them.

Internal Family Systems (IFS)

Internal Family Systems is a compassionate, evidence-based therapy that helps you understand and work with the different parts of yourself that carry pain, protection, or pressure. By creating space for these parts to be heard and supported, IFS helps reduce internal conflict and promotes healing. This approach is particularly effective for addressing anxiety, depression, relationship patterns, and trauma, helping you develop greater self-awareness, emotional balance, and the ability to lead from your truest self.

Common questions about therapy services, pricing, and what to expect

I do not accept insurance at this time, although I have applied to become an in-network provider with Arkansas Blue Cross Blue Shield. I can provide you with a superbill that you can submit to your insurance company for potential out-of-network reimbursement. Payment can be made by American Express, Health Savings Accounts, Mastercard, or Visa.

Standard therapy sessions are 60 minutes long. This allows enough time to dive deep into the work while maintaining a sustainable pace for healing. Sessions are available both in-person and through telehealth for clients who live in Arkansas.

Most clients benefit from weekly sessions, especially in the beginning stages of therapy. As you progress, we may adjust the frequency based on your needs and goals. Consistency is important for trauma work, as it helps build safety and momentum in the healing process.

Your first session is about getting to know each other and understanding what brings you to therapy. We'll discuss your goals, history, and what you hope to achieve. I'll explain how I work and answer any questions you have. There's no pressure to share more than you're comfortable with—we'll move at your pace.

Yes, I offer secure telehealth sessions for clients who live in Arkansas. Telehealth can be a great option if you prefer the comfort of your own space, have scheduling constraints, or live outside the Bentonville area. The therapeutic work is just as effective through telehealth.

I ask for at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a session. This allows me to offer the time to another client who may be waiting. Late cancellations or no-shows may be charged the full session fee, though I understand that emergencies happen and will work with you on a case-by-case basis.

The length of therapy varies for each person and depends on your goals, the complexity of what you're working through, and how you respond to treatment. Some clients find relief in a few months, while others benefit from longer-term support. We'll regularly check in about your progress and adjust as needed.

I specialize in trauma-informed, body-based approaches that address both the mind and nervous system. I integrate Brainspotting, Internal Family Systems, and Somatic Therapy to help you heal at a deeper level. My focus is on creating safety, building regulation skills, and helping you reconnect with yourself in a compassionate way.

Yes, therapy services typically qualify for Health Savings Account (HSA) and Flexible Spending Account (FSA) reimbursement. I accept HSA cards directly, and you can also submit receipts to your FSA administrator for reimbursement.

My practice focuses on individual therapy for adults. I specialize in helping individuals heal from trauma, regulate their nervous systems, and develop healthier relationship patterns. If you're looking for couples or family therapy, I'm happy to provide referrals to trusted colleagues.
